Hi guys,

I haven't blogged in awhile. I have actually been busy working on my accessory collection and doing the freelance styling thing. I have major goals I plan on accomplishing this year which has motivated me to stay busy developing my brand and my craft.

When I first started my collection I created a few sample pieces based on random things I found at supply stores, nothing was really organized or planned. I just wanted to see what I could come up with, which was a bad idea. Soon after I lost interest in completing the collection and became distracted with other projects. This time around I'm going back to the basic, like in middle school when I first found my love for fashion, I would spend hours drawing and sketching all my ideas. This way I'm more organized and I have a consistent flow going. Seeing the drawing makes me excited about bringing them to life. It's a overwhelming process but I know it will all be worthwhile and I cannot wait to share!



In other news...

I have also been working with some awesome photographers, trying to get my portfolio up to date and take my wardrobe styling to the next level. My dream is to make it a full-time profession. The last photographer I worked with was Mia Illic, who is a former model. Her style is clean and simple, which I love! Below are some images from the shoot we did.

The model is the gorgeous Tahirah Pope. I am absolutely in love with her freckles. She is one of my favorite new models to work with. Tahirah is among the handful of high fashion girls in Atlanta and there really isn't a market for her look in this city. I really see her traveling somewhere else and becoming a star.

Tahirah reminds me of model Nikia Phoenix. Can you see the resemblance?

Well that's pretty much it for now, just thought I'd give you all a little update on what I've been up to. I plan on switching this blog up a bit, so look out for a makeover happening soon. Also I can't wait to reveal some of my upcoming projects!
